I tried the Machinations-framework Flash version by @LudomotionGames back in the day I tried the actual @machinationsio tool many times But I never had the patience to master it - it just didn't give me any productivity boost for my work Oh, how wrong I was back then... Only now do I see why any game developer should master it to succeed in that craft Better late than never, I guess

My 2Cs: Checkout the very cool tooling by @machinationsio for token design (began with game design, stuck around for token economies). @VoltCapital are doing some solid theory on tokenomics. Qredo did some pretty damn nifty vault design (MPC, multisig with AI bots with threshold signing, and more) --> who has the IP now; not sure. More stables: hmm what with hard coded floors?! Do we need more stables?

How do you balance progression in a Free-to-Play game? ⚖️ We used Machinations to model a strategy game's economy. The results? Premium players had a clear advantage, but skill still mattered. Top F2P players could out-grind and outperform some spenders. Diagram in the comments!

@machinationsio I find that the Machinations is intuitive and easy to understand. However, it is difficult to design a fun economic system from scratch. It would be even better if there were more methodological tutorials on designing economic systems or quantifiable evaluation formulas.
