She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? Yes, I left the cart there. Right in the spot. On purpose. And no, I’m not “sorry” about it either. I just spent my money, stood in line forever, dealt with screaming kids and people moving like NPCs, and somehow you expect me to finish the experience by doing unpaid labor? Be serious. And the way some of you act like returning a cart is some heroic act of moral superiority is actually embarrassing. Congrats, you walked 10 extra steps, do you want a medal or a parade? If you’re starving, that donut will save your life. Is the US govt willing to stop subsidizing corn, wheat, and soy bean crops? The main components of processed food, therefore keeping them artificially cheap. No? Than STFU. Unless the Govt starts treating bad food like cigarettes - banning commercials for fast food on tv for example, or putting calorie restrictions on meals. You need a nanny state to do this, but they’ll feckless marketing like, see obesity numbers plummet because of GLP-1 drugs, and then take credit saying their ad campaign worked.
