The Slovak company Klein Vision has certified the flying car AirCar 2, which transforms into an airplane in just 90 seconds. The model, which has completed over 200 test flights, is preparing for mass production. Its flight range will be up to 1,000 km with a top speed of 250 km/h. Sales will begin in 2026, with prices starting at $800,000.

Poland Showcases Its Pilot's First Flight on an F-35 Fighter Jet Poland’s Ministry of Defense has unveiled the first flight of a Polish pilot on the F-35 Hussarz fighter jet. The aircraft took off from Fort Smith Air Base in Arkansas, where Polish pilots undergo training, according to the Polish Ministry of Defense. "The first flight of a Polish pilot on the F-35 Husarz. This historic moment marks a new chapter in the modernization of the Air Force," the statement read. The F-35 Lightning II was nicknamed "Hussarz" as a tribute to the winged hussars of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, named for their distinctive feathered attire. The F-35 Lightning II is a multirole aircraft, capable of engaging enemy planes (as a fighter jet), striking ground and naval targets (as a bomber), conducting reconnaissance missions, and performing electronic warfare operations.

@RonFilipkowski So long as Haley is in the race Trump getting convicted is not as cataclysmic to the republicans. Trump WANTS his conviction to be cataclysmic and Haley stands in the way of that.

I can see why Trump, his henchmen, and Republican Members of Congress are so desperate to get Haley to drop out of the race. She continues to show in state after state that a big chunk of the Republican Party does not support Trump.

@simongerman600 I am not a historian but it is peculiar for me thinking about Prussia that unified Germany and now is in Poland. It is more or less like if Piedmont, in Italy, was French. Am I wrong?

As a German it is actually wild for me to think about how often and how much German borders have changed over the last 100 years. Somehow I am convinced that I won't see more border changes in my lifetime (maybe another 40+ years) but what do I know...

Absolutely. No car can be called a luxury car unless it has autonomous driving technology in it. Soon all cars will be as well. LTSI. Don't be caught holding the bag that is worthless in a few months. It will just hit you so suddenly that you lost all that value on your gas powered cars that it will be worse when all start to dump their gas cars for a dime.

What's worse is that as gas cars become obsolete due to EV adoption with self-driving technology, the asset value of cars on the road today will further diminish. You'll have people in upside down loans that will be even more upside down because no one's going to want to own a gas car that doesn't drive itself. This will happen way quicker than people expect.
