Growing up I always heard our biggest threat to success on the farm was the weather. Now the biggest threat is undoubtedly government policy. We now have a Rail strike and an erosion of property rights with Plan2050 both happening during a busy harvest season for farmers.

@manitobahydro You guys will spend money on contractors to do storm restoration instead of negotiating a fair contract with your own ibew staff. It’s ridiculous.

Interlake update 1/2: as crews work on restoration the extent of storm damage is greater with approx 2300 customers affected. Many are restored but we are working to restore approx 1600 into tomorrow.
