And today, the Nicklaus Companies, are back in the hands of my family and me.” Jack Nicklaus was awarded $50 million in a defamation lawsuit against the Nicklaus Companies back in October, and he was then cleared to buy the assets of the firm for $35.7 million. Jack won 18 majors including 2 US Amateurs and his LLC named “20 majors” has acquired his name, image and likeness as of March 2026, as well as his golf design business, ending the corporate litigation.
