Freshman House Rep. Adam Duncan, R-Oconee (who beat longtime Rep. Bill Sandifer) was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at 205AM this morning on DUI, less than .10 first offense. Records show he was released on a $992.50 PR bond. He's due back in court May 7.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out about my dad. Last night he had a fall at his apartment in Washington, DC and was taken to the hospital as a precaution. He did receive stitches, but he is doing well. He has since been discharged, returned to the House of Representatives, and is voting in a few minutes. Our family is grateful for all the prayers and kind messages this morning.

I filed for re-election to continue serving South Carolina’s Fourth Congressional District. Representing the Upstate is one of the greatest honors of my life, and I am proud to have President Trump’s endorsement as we keep moving the America First agenda forward. Since day one I have focused on protecting taxpayers, securing the border, supporting our veterans and service members, and fighting back against burdensome regulations that hold our economy back.
