A great many people in this world seem to need a dictionary: #Zionism is: the support for the concept of the existence of #Israel as a Jewish state. #Zionism is not: racism, apartheid, colonialism, expansionism, genocide.

Notorious suspended NHS doctor Rahmeh Aladwan has reportedly been charged with ”multiple counts of inviting support for Hamas and other offences”. According to the Metropolitan Police, Dr Aladwan was arrested for the fifth time today for breaching police bail conditions which were imposed following her previous arrests. After a public outcry, and a threat of legal action from CAA, in September 2025 when the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service declined to suspend her while under investigation by the GMC, a new hearing was held two months later, at which she was suspended for fifteen months. Like so many other investigations, it is still ongoing even after so many months. It is therefore encouraging to see the authorities finally taking some real action after so many arrests and a campaign of anti-Jewish incitement by Dr Aladwan.

Genuinely curious what people’s reasoning is. What’s your main reason for supporting Israel?

@SaulGPowell Do you not think ethnic minorities should feel safe here? Why should British Jews go to the Russian Federation, especially as virtually none have any connection to that country at all?

@madbins I wouldn't prefer it however, I wouldn't lament them leaving. Same with Muslims. The Jewish Autonomous Oblast within the Russian Federation. Its massive, its soil fertile, was a gift to the Jewish people prior the founding of "Israel".

"Jews will be in Britain forever." is a strange statement. It's more like a threat, that no matter how much anyone protests, they shall never leave.

It comes to something when a European country has to deploy its army to provide protection to Jewish buildings and organisations in response to the tide of violent #antisemitism. Will we see this here next? And what will be done to tackle the rhetoric that fuels the tide??

@FranklySpeakP Well Hatzola and Shomrim are charities set up by Jews, to serve people in Jewish areas. Surely any charity which actively protects and cares for people providing emergency services is a good thing?

@FranklySpeakP I don't know the laws of flashing lights on vehicles but it must be legal or they wouldn't be allowed. The point is any organisation which looks after people and keeps them safe is a good thing.

These things should only be run by the British state. It creates a segregated society. I think the same about schools, hospitals, police.

It seems like a strange position to take. Are you against Hatzola because they're Jewish? Can Jewish people not set up charities to give healthcare?

But also at Johns don’t have a separate emergency number to call they’re not a separate ambulance service. They’re a first aid service for things like school fetes. But now I wouldn’t call them in emergency.

@Storm98473562 @JaneGerson @OldRoberts953 No, you're misunderstanding. Hatzola isn't "the Jews' own healthcare" any more than St John Ambulance is "Christians' own healthcare". Hatzola & Shomrim serve their local areas & are accessible to everyone.

@Storm98473562 @JaneGerson @OldRoberts953 Sharia is Muslim religious law, it hasn't got anything to do with healthcare. If I needed an ambulance, I absolutely wouldn't care if it was owned by the NHS, Jews, Muslims or St John's as long as I got the care I needed.

Just like St John Ambulances. Plus they're funded privately & through charitable donations so they cost the taxpayer nothing!

@Daniel_Sugarman I worked in Golders Green. Those 4 Jewish ambulances are hidden in an enclosed space, you can't see them from the road and only some local residents, medical personnel and police know where they are.This was definitely a false flag operation executed by local Israeli Zionist cell
