My colleagues who worked with me on the same project I am awaiting remittance payment for recieved theirs over 10 days ago. Their account was in SCB. Yet HBL still has not credited my account. Why?! What is wrong with you guys?!

@HBLPak It’s been 5 days since my remittance has arrived in your bank but is not being credited to my account even though the branch has filed the relevant paperwork. I have called the remittance helpline every single day. They have highlighted the issue multiple times, sent an email. So has the branch. Yet, nothing. No response. What kind of service is this?!

Mapped the roads/perimeter in Karachi University once and turns out you can run around the campus and do a 5k easily. They should start by having a running track there. Heh. Park in our area in Gulberg is about 0.8km - could’ve been 1km if the mosque & school hadn’t encroached on park land.

@faizanlakhani @murtazawahab1 Incredible. Just a couple of days back I tweeted about lack of running tracks in major Karachi parks outside of DHA & Clifton. Doha has a ~5km running track along their corniche. Karachi could have one along Seaview, or Lyari & Malir river banks, only if local/prov govt cared.

Lahore gets a new long-distance running track at CBD, spanning a one-way distance of over 4.5 km. Such tracks and facilities are needed in other cities as well, particularly in Karachi. Cc: @murtazawahab1

Belated but it needs be acknowledged: my salute to the lawyer fraternity of Sindh for scuttling the six-canal project that would have destroyed not just Sindh but the breadbasket region of Punjab too. What cost: destroy green Punjab to green desert Punjab.

@murtazasolangi @SkyYaldaHakim @SkyNewsPolitics So deeply, deeply disappointed. Worked with her briefly once in the early years of my career and used to respect her. But I’ve also watched her spiral in the last few years and it’s just been so shameful and disappointing. She knows better. Yet chooses not to.

I have closely watched, listened to and pondered over the interviews of @SkyYaldaHakim of @SkyNewsPolitics with more Pakistanis and one Indian BJP mouthpiece. Her questions and comments with Pakistanis were highly aggressive to the point of being rude while being polite and even apologetic to the hateful Hindutva representative. My modest reaction to her “ journalism” is unfollowing her and ignore her coloured outlook regardless of her motivations. Deeply disappointed.

It's crazy how hard it is to enjoy rain in Karachi. I have to text my partner updates & find out when he's going to be home in case he gets stuck en route. Once that's done, we wait and see if the electricity will go out. Bohat trust issues hain baarish ke saath humaray.
