@drewlevin Implement a semi-smart, performance based LP gain/loss. Not a single dynamic score, but bracketed. So if you solo lose the game, you lose more. If you solo win, you win more. Obscure it slightly, but make it just obvious enough that people WANT to overperform every game.

A lot of people ask me what I do on League, so here's a problem that I'm thinking about right now. I'm going to describe how I'm thinking about it and I'll call out assumptions and goals. I'm interested in peoples' thoughts on it. The problem is solo queue toxicity.

When I was 13 I was waiting outside of a mall for my dad to pick me up. I was probably barely 90 lbs then if that. A HUGE black guy ran up punched me shoved me to the ground and stole my phone and purse. Broad daylight. When I got up I realized it was all black people watching and not ONE came over, said anything, asked if I needed help, none offered to call 911. I looked around crying. They just looked at me like yeah that’s what you deserve. I hate to say it but things like that just change the way you see certain people. After that I always thought oh you guys just hate me.

Man I love these old school combat tapes. Here’s Randy Couture’s clinch fighting dvd. Greco techs mixed with thai techs is a lethal combo. Most people don’t have a good clinch because A: it’s too tiring and B: you have to love being in a firefight.
