@themichaeltbh they absolutely should stick to ceilings considering they already only do it with the sticky property anyway but the complete lack of friction does seem like a bug
would be really cool if they kept it and added it to java though

if today they patch it in the preview then sure, get mad, but thats because its not intended, whether you think its a good thing or not (I happen to think its an amazing piece of tech id personally build in my world and it would be a MAJOR mistake to remove)

It was added back in 2018 with 1.14, alongside the crafting recipe book, 8 years ago.
It's just being added to BEDROCK now.
