@aakashgupta That’s the coast. Go inland past the first mountain range and the temps skyrocket. I’ve seen a 50 degree difference between the beach and 30 miles inland as the crow flies.

California has the best weather on the planet and the science behind it is absurd. The cold California Current runs south from Alaska at 50°F. When warm air crosses it, moisture becomes fog instead of rain. San Francisco's average July high is 67°F. Phoenix, same latitude, hits 106°F. A 39-degree gap between two cities in the same state. That's the cold current doing all the work. The Pacific High, a semi-permanent pressure system, blocks storms from reaching the coast six to eight months straight. LA regularly goes 200+ consecutive days without a single drop of rain. Most places at this latitude get summer thunderstorms. California gets zero. Then the Sierra Nevada blocks every arctic air mass that freezes the rest of the continent. When a polar vortex drops Chicago to -20°F, LA sits at 65°F. Three systems running simultaneously: cold current for cooling, high pressure for drought, mountains for insulation. There are exactly five places on Earth where all three converge. California is one. The others are coastal Chile, the Western Cape of South Africa, southwestern Australia, and the actual Mediterranean. That's the entire list. Jensen Huang just told everyone to move to California and eat the highest taxes in the world because "the weather is great." He watched Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Thiel, and Zuckerberg flee the state to dodge an $8 billion tax bill. His response: "I haven't thought about it even once." He's not being glib. He's being geological.

@RealJamesWoods The Left has overused words like Nazi, fascist and racist to the point that they no longer carry any real weight or meaning. They basically all mean the same thing to the Left: a person they disagree with.

The word “nazi” is not a casual insult, but a libelous accusation. I would be concerned if any of my employees were roaming the digital landscape hurling such unhinged rants at strangers. The Brownstone is a lovely establishment and I’m sure its owners would be concerned as well.

@Sam_R_Juarez @RamsNFL Exactly, the solid fill logo has been around since the 2020 rebrand. It’s not “new”. I much prefer the solid fill vs the gradient. So it’s a small improvement.

@MAGAgirl1745 @JoJoFromJerz I don't want any of the things in your lazy meme. As for pedophilia... “I’ve known Jeff [Epstein] for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” --DJT

Donald Trump fired Pam Bondi in an attempt to prevent her from having to testify under oath about what she knows is in the Epstein files. Just think about that for a second.

@ipglow @JoJoFromJerz Not once in this rant against Americans across the aisle do you defend the President. You're far more whipped up about "lunatic Democrats" than you are about uncovering the truth. Spare us any mention of the victims.

Do you need to expose your ignorance? Democrats were crying all day that Pam should be fired, as soon as they got their wish, you shift the crying goal post that she was fired so as not to testify. The lunatics democrats don’t care about the victims hence didn’t bring it up ever, but because they want to use it as propaganda and lies against Trump they are convulsing. Very evil set of people .

WOW! President Trump just completely turned on Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Alex Jones and Megyn Kelly. This is probably his biggest mistake he's ever made. So much of the MAGA base looks up to these people, and this is going to get them questioning their loyalty to Trump. If Trump can turn on these people simply because they disagree with him, he can turn on anyone. TRUMP IS DONE! He knows it!

@RozsaNiki @EdKrassen Shakespeare referred to bootlickers as "knee-crooking knaves." The President refers to them as "good" or "beautiful" until they're "bad" and "low IQ." So glad we demand such eloquence and class from our top executive.

@EdKrassen Trump turns on everyone who forgets to flatter him even for a second, so everyone should keep that in mind. We can't expect more from a narcissistic man-child, even a 3-year-old is smarter than the orange clown.

If we go back to the historic retro logo and ditch the current Rams horn logo, then it makes all the sense to connect the horns and curl them to match the Rams head logo. The reason they kept them split horns was because it was supposed to mimic a football thrown in a spiral form and the LA logo to match the current Rams horn, but if they replace the Rams head logo to the Retro Rams head horns, I don't see why they would keep the split horns on the helmets. Only thing I can think of was because they want to keep some elements new of the rebrand. But no one likes the split horns.

In a sane world, in a world of accountability, the man who incited a deadly insurrection five years ago never would have been able to hold public office again. That reckless, abusive man—who could end his two-week pause at any moment—needs to be removed from office. Now.

Most second movies are better than their predecessors. It’s easier to name the exceptions. Raiders of the Lost Arc >Temple of Doom Jaws>Jaws II Back to the Future>Back to the Future II Spider-man: Homecoming>Spider-man: Far From Home Every animated Disney movie is better than its sequel except Monsters Inc isn’t as good as Monsters U, and Toy Story isn’t as good as Toy Story II And that’s it. In every other series, (except one or two I forgot,) the second one is better.

@katcystephan @SaveYourCinema Someone raised the idea of @netflix buying the Dome and Arclight complex. Forman isn't selling, but what a potential marketing bonanza and instant draw for LA moviegoers and tourists who'd gladly pay full price to see their favorite streaming shows on the giant screen.

The replies to this post are a prime example of how this site has become complete and utter garbage. An innocent post about how one of the great American cities appears to be doing well again (which, as Americans we should ALL be cheering for), somehow turns into people calling me a pedophile, liar, paid conspirator and more. Utter, utter garbage.
