Why unopened? Raised on Marvel, loyal to paper, strictly at DC for Vertigo at that time, probably had other copies of this disc. The problem then was NOT CD-ROMs, though that is in fact the problem now

@Storagezilla I think about this ghastly article a LOT, and how it punched down (at fans, at women) instead of up (at Ellis for creating the reward system). It's another symbol of how broken comics can be. And I hate seeing my friend's picture mocked on this piece.

So... this struck me, hard enough to just pull off the band-aid so to speak. I've been playing at cis my entire life. I remember I realized I had to at age 5. And since then, I've done every performative action possible to "fit" into that group, and into that narrative.

There are SO MANY paths to progress. So many ways to do the work. Or even make people THINK you’re doing the work. It feels strange to see Ellis’s return without even a nominal gesture toward repentance or progress. I want to believe he’s capable of more.
