At a Network School mixer, the host asked for a volunteer to stand in the center of 30+ people and answer rapid-fire questions. I didn't think. I just jumped in. 15+ questions 3 minutes No script, no prep Just years of knowing exactly what I do and why I do it. When you've spent enough time building something real, selling yourself doesn't feel like selling. It feels like talking about your favorite thing. The best pitch isn't a pitch. It's clarity.

I'm hiring junior editors. I need somebody to go through a lot of data, sort it, organize it, clip whatever seems interesting, and build a data bank. It's not a rudimentary job, but it is grunt work.
