@JessieSunPsych Goes with the conceit that we're typically studying timeless psychological phenomena rather than psychological moments floating on social and historical waves, imho.

In recent reviews, I've been asking authors to specify when the data were collected (given COVID). Isn't it weird that it's not common practice to report data collection dates in psychology?

@JessieSunPsych My lab has a habit of including the date because we study yearly events (e.g. bar exam, academic job market). However, always makes me nervous that a reviewer might think my data too "old".
