It has been a most rewarding enriching experience to work in @UNDPasiapac over the past 5 years!

📍 Beni Municipality in Myagdi district is using data to deliver dignity. Through the Socio-Economic Vulnerability Information Management System (SEVIMS) under UNDP’s Sambodhan Initiative, the local government is identifying real needs, preventing duplication of support, and reaching the most vulnerable fairly and transparently. Similarly, for the first time in Nepal, a software-based household information system has been integrated with QR-coded electronic house numbering, enabling real-time access to verified household and location details. From livelihood grants to housing assistance, data-driven planning is helping ensure no one is left behind. UN Resident Coordinator Nepal highlighted the power of collaboration between the Government of Nepal, development partners, and the UN system in driving progress over seven decades. As part of the celebration, UNDP Nepal also marked 60 years of partnership, showcasing our work to advance inclusive economic growth, strengthen democratic governance, build climate resilience through interactive displays.
