Last night California Gov. Gavin Newsom amazingly called out Republicans for stripping away Americans’ rights. Everyone needs to see this clip. Republicans constantly campaign on the idea of “freedom” but in reality what they are doing is gradually taking away the rights that it took us hundreds of years to finally gain. Whether it is abortion rights, contraception rights, rights of black people, rights of the LGBTQ+ community, the right to read books or listen to music, Republicans are erasing the progress this country has made over decades and decades of blood, sweat and tears. Our ancestors fought so hard, just to have Republicans in state legislatures and US Congress try to strip this progress away with a swipe of a pen. Enough is Enough!
