As you might have read, Twitter’s Curation team - which I led - was disbanded last week. 🧵 The multilingual team, located in 9 cities, provided content intelligence for ML-driven products, trends context and highlighted credible content when Twitter really needed it.

Looks like Elon Musk fired the entire curation team. These were the folks who tackled misinfo, contextualized conversations via the 'Explore' page, and helped make Twitter an unmatched source for breaking news. This will make Twitter noisier, more dangerous & less interesting
