Shout out to my girlfriend who drove over an hour to bring me two bunches of beautiful flowers, my fave iced coffee, a book I’m desperate to read, and then drove us to a beautiful country park for a walk 🥰

For a long time, I felt ashamed to have bipolar. I turned to drinking heavily to try and ‘cope’ with it… Well, I’m now over 4 years sober, and feel proud of who I am - illness and all 😊 #WorldBipolarDay

Over the past week, I’ve been called a whale, and told I shouldn’t be wearing such ‘tight fitting’ clothes So, instead of letting it get to me, I bought some new ‘tight fitting’ clothes and proudly showed them off 😊

Been finding things a bit overwhelming recently, so sorry for being a bit of quiet on here - but going for walks is definitely helping ☺️

Exactly two years ago, I planned to take my own life & was devastated when it went wrong… Fast forward to today - out for a walk earlier, reflecting on all that’s happened since, I couldn’t help but smile. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m so bloody glad I stayed! 😀

Can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but after some successful home leave… I’m officially being discharged from the psych ward!! Honestly, the best news I could’ve hoped for! 😭
