@elizzioswt thisss and also the way writers, especially X-Men’s, were DRAGGING her ass for years after HOM, like that became their whole gotcha and thank Steve Orlando and Russel Dauterman for rebranding her in the big 2023 even now they are still making Mutants, young ones, afraid of her

Todo mês eu tenho que repetir isso: era uma popularidade nichada apenas quem era da bolha das HQs, vingadores nunca foi uma equipe popular no nível dos x-mens e liga da justiça que conseguia sair dessa bolha, mas ela só ganhou a popularidade que tem hj devido aos filmes.

vocês precisam entender de uma vez por todas que a wanda já era uma das personagens mais populares da editora antes de estrear no mcu. não era top 3, mas ainda era popular. mas é claro que o stan da olsen vai desconhecer a trajetória da personagem nas hqs, não é mesmo?

@NoirsGlasses @elizzioswt now I’ll say this tho, they should introduce new original romani characters WITHOUT making them stereotypes (Wanda, Doom, Lilia), with better writers and new ideas, they can make original characters so they’d be more than capable

@elizzioswt they are purposely ignoring the amount of inclusivity and race-swapping that has been welcomed and appreciated from the MCU (Nick Fury, Heimdall, Valkyre, Kang, Taskmaster, Wonder Man…) and focus on those that have been changed cause they were literally a stereotype in comics

SW vol 2 understood Wanda so well. She loves Billy and Tommy, but they aren't the original babies she gave birth to and briefly raised. They’re essentially strangers who grew up without her, so she feels awkward around them. I'm so over the forced mother persona they keep pushing

@onlyinecstasy @elizzioswt she’s been white since day 1, she even is still white in Dauterman redesign just a darker/light olive shade cause there are tons of shades to a skin tone, romani is an ethnicity that encompasses multiple people of different races, and she was called white in her 2015 run too LOL
