His velocity is back to where it was last year, hitting 97 in the seventh. That is 1000% the reason why he looks like his old self again today. Very refreshing to see bc I was getting nervous after his last couple of starts.

Cristopher Sanchez is looking elite tonight. Allowed a couple hits to start the seventh, then struck out two of the next three batters to end the inning. He was fired up after striking out Darell Hernaiz on a 3-2 changeup to end the inning.

Trade: Vikings are sending former Pro-Bowl LB Jonathan Greenard to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a third-round pick tonight (No. 98) and a third-round pick next year, per me and @rapsheet. Greenard and the Eagles reached agreement on a four-year, $100 milllion extension that includes $50 million fully guaranteed, per his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey.
