In a first ever for BART, we are running advertisements written in Chochenyo, the language of the Ohlone people who have called the East Bay their ancestral home for millennia. The advertisements promote a new exhibition at @exploratorium. Learn more: bart.gov/news/articles/…

A beautiful piece in the @HuffPost on our work. ‘alšip-mak—with gratitude—to @yumcoconutmilk for listening with such attention and for their thoughtful reporting on ‘oṭṭoy—Cafe Ohlone. The East Bay will always be Ohlone land; our people—and culture—continue to thrive here.

Glimpses into a world reimagined, a love song to Ohlone culture, coming together piece by piece and opening for public meals soon. The trees will sing, an abalone curtain will welcome diners, the food will represent dishes served in Ohlone homes, taught to us by our elders.
