@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist Yes, it literally means the remnant of the Kingdom of Judah, which explicitly included the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi. The Apostle Paul literally calls himself a Benjamite (Rom 11:1) and a Jew (Acts 22:3). Your 'gotcha' is just basic biblical history.

@makeitup126 @DefiantBaptist Yes and when you anachronize the term 'jew' to mean the religion formed 500 years later, formally, you are in error. You are in error. Hebrew is not 'jew' either, hence the completely different term. By jew, do you mean only the tribe of Judah, or and Benjamin and Levi? Uh oh...

I had high hopes for Wes Huff. I thought he could be the official apologist for the bro revival, and I was hopeful he could succeed where so many others had failed (Keller, Ortlund, etc.). Unfortunately, Huff seems too naïve and/or compromised to be of any use to our movement.

So much noise online regarding the term "judeo-Christian." Guys -- in academia it's simply the term that describes the combined corpus of Old and New Testaments. The Jewish heritage of the Hebrew scriptures combined with the New Testament. That's it. I know you want there to be some conspiracy but there isnt, that's the way we're using it. It has nothing to do with geo-politics or a one world order.

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi. His disciples were Jewish. The Apostle Paul was a Pharisee. The New Testament is entirely built on fulfilling the Hebrew scriptures and covenants. Claiming Christianity coming from Judaism is a 'modern anachronism' is a flat-out denial of the entire Bibl

@makeitup126 @DefiantBaptist Yes, they can and can see you are obviously lying. I said similar things, in some of those cases, specificity is important. In no way does Christianity come from judaism. It's a modern anachronism that few if any really historically held since 100ish years ago.

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist "You're confusing the 5th-century codification of the Talmud with the actual existence of Judaism. The Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint physically prove Jewish scripture was written down and highly formalized centuries before Christ.

@makeitup126 @DefiantBaptist Judaism didn't exist until the 5th century, formally. What confuses you? I am distracting from nothing. 'It was oral, trust me bro!'

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist Bringing up Nicea and Genesis is a massive pivot to distract from the fact that you got caught claiming Judaism didn't exist until the 5th century AD. Every reply is a brand new topic because you can't defend the last one. And I agree Christianity starts with Genesis lol

@makeitup126 @DefiantBaptist I didn't forget. You are just hurling poorly masked invective now because you are raging and can't see the hypocrisy while blustering inanely because you are borderline illiterate. Formally. You can argue precursors all day. God established Christianity in Genesis. Man at Nicea.

New struggle session from Gabe Hughes. Being a member of Patriot Front does not warrant church discipline. This is abuse of power.

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist Pretending you forgot the original argument after spending two hours frantically moving the goalposts is a classic way to slip out the back door. You got utterly dismantled by basic history, scripture, and etymology.

@makeitup126 @DefiantBaptist Not even remotely. You think their was goalpost shifting at play while rambling. What was the original contention again?

Church Discipline should only happen for actual sins. Real sins that the Bible actually condemns. "Being a member of Patriot Front" is not (by itself) a sin. If you read this as an endorsement (strong or soft!) of PF, you are part of the problem & need to learn clear categories

@makeitup126 @DefiantBaptist The conflation of the term is the same. Zero rebuttals to anything I have said. Zero attempt at logical exclusion. You're telling on yourself.

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist First it was a Babylonian cult, then fake 2% statistics, and now you’re comparing ancient tribal lineages to modern US citizenship. You will invent any bizarre theory to avoid admitting you didn't know basic etymology.

@makeitup126 @DefiantBaptist Nope, it did not. It became the primary conflation of Israelites and those residing in Judah. Muh propositional nationhood! See America for the modern conflation.

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist Because talking to someone who resorts to slurs because they don't know the difference between 5th-century history and linguistic evolution is a waste of time

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist No scripture, no historical data, just defending slurs and collecting typos. You completely lost this debate the second your fake timeline met actual primary sources

@makeitup126 @DefiantBaptist Yes, your tantrums and childish insults are quite revealing. Calling you a retard is merely a statement of fact at this point. You just keep rehashing it, really taking the illogocal 'using invective is an automatic debate loss' to heart. Good stuff.

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist Trying to rationalize using slurs while short-circuiting into typos like 'illogocal' is the ultimate admission that you've got zero historical arguments left.

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist That's because the term 'Jew' (Yehudi) is a linguistic evolution that directly stems from the Kingdom of Judah. It became the primary name for the remnant during and after the exile

@Ben_Dennis_ @DefiantBaptist The lineage of Christ is explicitly traced through the tribe of Judah and the post-exilic remnants (Matthew 1). You can’t separate the lineage of Christ from the literal definition of who Jews were, considering Jesus Himself was a Jew from that exact line.

@makeitup126 @DefiantBaptist Sure, and that is important in the lineage of Christ, not in who were considered 'jews' temporally or propositionally.
