Affirm. I just want some sort of physical keyboard with a truly unlockable and re-lockable bootloader and a SoC from the last 5 years or newer. Unfortunately, this product has a very low chance of existing over the next 10 years 😭 If I was forced to do a hardware startup (and had contacts in Chinese manufacturing), I'd make very high quality and expensive phone attachment/case that plugs into the USB-C port on the phone. The attachment would be for flagship phones, and it would be a HIGH QUALITY landscape slide-out physical keyboard with a USB-C. It would include more battery to fill in what would be otherwise wasted space. If done properly, with VERY high-quality sliding hinges and keyboards, I would legitimately happily pay $400. I think that this is unironically a great idea. Android and iOS should just work with this setup quiet easily, just make sure the onscreen keyboard is turned off when the keyboard has been slid-out (slided-out?) and the phone is forced to rotate into landscape mode. Seriously, I think this product could have very high profit margins, and the keyboard and hinge could be the same for all phones, with the part that connects the hinge to the body of the phone being swappable for whatever model of phone you have. Based Chinese men, PLEASE BUILD THIS

This is the Zenwa Q25 Pro. It is essentially a Blackberry for the current year. While I really HATE having to type on touchscreens, I am concerned if these will be able to properly run the various Android apps that I need. I know I am just going to go Graphene OS ultimately.

Lots of zero-day exploits lately. Of course, today's Dirty Frag exploit (CVE-2026-43284) requires the attacker to have local access to gain root privileges. Note that remote, authenticated access is sufficient. It seems pieced of the exploit were published in different cybersecurity discussions, though the entire exploit required piecing together 3 different articles to make the entire exploit.
