DYK: It’s illegal for bars to ask - or breweries to offer - keg deals, cash, draft instal, line cleaning and other financial incentives in exchange for selling their products and it happens WAY more often then you think. WHY ARE YOU CHEAPENING YOUR CRAFT?!

@MatthewJMAllen2 Maybe those small businesses shouldn’t have those items until then can afford them? If they’re vital to service then look at how & where dollars are going, work it into the budget. Many breweries are small business themselves. Nothing is truly free.

@mal_jones It’s an epidemic in the beer business, to sell your soul for an umbrella, an extra keg, or whatever. Unfortunately sometimes for a small place it’s the difference between having these things and not. Freedom isn’t always free. #slavetotheman #notright

@jonathonmoody I’m not sure to be honest. I hope so? I feel my time is better spent actually improving my product and service vs. figuring out how to be sketchy and insecure in my approach to sales.
