@trav12037911 Might seem paradoxical, but I believe I love very passionately first—at a fundamental level, however, it is a slow and carefully love. There’s also something to be said when answering this, about the unspoken & largely unrecognized conflation of infatuation and love in society.

Sometimes I avoid liking long posts or videos as I’m unsure if there is something I don’t agree with in the post. And I either don’t have time to read or have no patience. Do you also feel the same way?

If people in the deep state were involved in covering up the leak of election data to foreign actors why haven’t they already been arrested?

As soon as I realized this had become a normal and generally “justifiable” action (guess it depends who you ask), I knew society was fucked. Stuff like this makes reconciliation so much harder..

@UltraKingDragon I couldn’t agree more! However, I’ve been thinking about how ppl today, would interpret/define ‘meaningful work’. I may be wrong, but society has reached a point that subjective wants—not needs—are being given higher priority than necessary work. = More unnecessary confusion.

The future does not need more spectators. It needs more people quietly doing meaningful work.

You need not change yourself. You only need patience. Learning to sit still, with only yourself (meditation) & reflect. Or even just letting the thoughts pass you by observing without judgement, I think is an easy & efficient method to help understand yourself at a deeper level

@UltraKingDragon People these days seem to want nuance, or a novel solution. Not realize the gravity in the simple and straightforward advice you’ve given. What concerns me is this might be an indication that ppl presume these are some grand mysteries. Something outside their grasp, when it isnt.

Walk forward with courage. Speak with kindness. Learn without pride. Build without selfishness. That path never goes out of style.

@fitzgerald1337 I think after Covid there was this unexpected apprehensiveness toward compassion in general. Likely from the deprivation of social interactions in society. Possibly leading to a sort of reset or defaulting of some kind. Compassion is something that you pour from a full cup.
