I am Malak from Gaza 🇵🇸 A mother of children and the wife of an injured man, carrying the responsibility of supporting my family under extremely difficult hum
I speak with a tired heart and ask with a heart full of humanity. My name is Malak. I hope you can take just a moment of your time to look at me and listen to my story. I once lived in a beautiful apartment with my husband and children. We had a simple, peaceful, and happy life. My husband was my support and the provider for our family, and for the child I am carrying now. Then the war came in 2023 and took away everything beautiful from us. Our home was bombed and destroyed, and all our dreams collapsed. My husband suffered a serious injury and now needs surgery and continuous medical treatment. I have official medical reports stamped by the Ministry of Health to prove his condition. Despite all of this, I still struggle to find someone who can stand beside me and my family with compassion. Even if the support is only emotional, moral, financial, or simply by sharing our story, it would mean so much to us. I hope the psychological pressure and suffering I am living through will end soon, and that my husband will return to being the father and support that our children and the baby who will arrive in four months need. You are kind and compassionate people, and I humbly ask you to please try to help me. Thank you wherever you are. 🫂🙏😻 My dear friends, I forgot to tell you yesterday about the new cat in our home! I was walking home when I saw a kitten sleeping on some debris, not far from where I originally found our wonderful cat Susu. I don't know if they're siblings or related already because they are so alike, but our home is now filled with even more playful energy and joy for my children and we are all very happy with this addition. We have not named this new kitten yet but she and Susu already get along very well and play all of the time. It was a hot day and my children have been asking to visit the beach for a while, so today my wife took them to Gaza Beach so that my children could swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Even despite the terror at night and the terrible situation and the unknown of traveling they have been doing well in their education and with taking on the responsibilities of the shelter, and I am happy when they can have happy experiences. I am still waiting and hoping for a phone call from the travel company, I cannot give up hope when things are so truly terrible here in 🇵🇸🕊🌿#Gaza.. People are turning on each other and expenses are overwhelming every family, I do not know of anyone who is not going through hell right now. I feel so badly for our friends in tents who still live in these awful conditions, and there is no hope in sight that they will be able to go back to their homes to rebuild them. What are they meant to do, my dear ones, what would you do? I could not live in a tent for that long, I do not think. I am very grateful for your help for our friends in the cruelty free tents and I hope that we can give them a good month. Your support after all of this time for our animals, even though they have been through so much, gives me hope too, and I hope that you will not go anywhere while we still need you.
