I know this is sudden, but I’ve decided to withdraw from the ficfest as my vision no longer aligns with the event. I’ll still be sharing my stories independently, and I’m so grateful for your constant support and for loving SteJay as much as I do. XOXO

Also, I won’t be participating in the ficfest, but I’ll still be here writing, creating, and supporting in my own way. From the very beginning, my goal has always been simple and that is to write for SteJay. That hasn’t changed, and it won’t ever. I’ll continue writing as an individual writer, telling the stories I want to tell for them, at my own pace and in my own space. It’s just really upsetting… because now you’re siding with people who stayed silent, who never even defended JL like they didn’t care at all while he was being dragged. I really thought we were all in this together… but I guess this just shows where you truly stand.

I never thought someone I trusted would stand with people who’ve hurt him so many times. It’s painful watching those I believed supported both of them choose a place that never wished him well. Words once felt true—but actions now say otherwise. And honestly… it feels like a quiet kind of betrayal.
