@marmilaze When you're getting your head pat, I think a lot of the noise is transferring through your skull, and not your actual ears, so you kind of want more of a muffled sound. There are a few ways of doing it though, so definitely experiment around to see what sounds best to you. 🤘

@marmilaze Put a windsock or a foam pop filter on the mic and crank up the gain. Then when you pet/pat the sock, it gives you that super close feeling. Results may vary based on your mic. If you're using a 3dio, maybe try folding a towel or a blanket and putting it on top.

@PoochStan @HappyHarryToons This anecdote doesn't apply. We're not talking about employment or efficiency, we're talking about expression. A railroad dug out with spoons would be an amazing feat and would talked about. A railroad dug with machines could still be beautiful, but less socially impactful.
