Most people grow, or try to grow, Lithops for their body size and shape, they do look like small stones. But, under the right conditions and care, they prove they are really plants, and produce flowers. This was my Lithops Bromfieldii var. insularis 'Sulphurea' in flower.

Also flowering in one of my over-wintering frames is my old friend Mammillaria candida, the snowball cactus. I grew it from seed planted in 1987, making it 35 years old. Another wonderful cactus native to Mexico.
