That's $2M ARR per employee. PowerPoint was invented before the first website, before the Game Boy, before the Berlin Wall fell. But Gamma, and our 70 million users, are proof that an AI-native company can disrupt a category everyone assumed was won. 30 million gammas are created every single month, as we fight hard to become a new standard for communication. 3+ years ago, I took a bet that changed my life. After studying graphic design in Lebanon and moving to the US in 2017, I spent 5 years working in Silicon Valley—growing from marketing designer to product designer. I loved what I did, but I hit burnout. Like, the real kind. So I quit. No backup plan, just the dream of joining a big-name company—Youtube, Pinterest, Etsy… something shiny. But then I got a message from a small startup called @GammaApp . They were building a new kind of tool --> “write like a doc, present like a deck.” It was still in closed beta, so I begged for access. Within minutes, I was obsessed. They asked to see my portfolio… and I didn’t have one 😅 (classic designer move). So I built my entire portfolio in Gamma in just two days, before AI existed!!. That moment was my lightbulb 💡: If a tool could help me create something I’d procrastinated for years in just two days, I knew it was special. So I joined as employee #12, the 4th designer in a team of 12. Fast forward to today—> I’ve grown alongside this team, helping shape everything from how Gamma feels to how it shows up in the world. It’s been the most creative, fulfilling ride of my career: ✨ Turning an idea into a product, a product into a brand, and a brand into something the world now recognizes. ✨ And today, I get to share this: 🚀 Gamma just raised $68M and hit a $2.1B valuation. As part of our @gammaapp 3.0 launch, we designed and released 8 new themes. This one was so fun to play with! Themes are basically "skins" in gamma that let you apply the style with 1-click. Gone are the days where you need to manually update everything. I've been in my orange era lately, so this one is called "Clementa". What's a color scheme you're stuck on?
