I grew up in Kansanga and as a little boy there were times I would take a small jerrycan to line up for kerosene or paraffin. There were two small grocery shops run by government one where Mabirizi complex it and another where CJs sits on Parliament Avenue. That was all we knew as super markets. These grocery shops at some large fuel stations are much bigger and with better selection of goods. How can I understand anyone who says Uganda has no grown? We imported bread! Tip Top bread from Kenya. I worked in Kiyembe during my S6 vacation 1994 and by boss imported suit materials from Kenya by bus. There is no one importing them from Kenya anymore! Please understand me when I say we have grown. I have seen a lot worse. I understand you because you have never seen worse!
