@Kesthecollie A guy I worked with years ago (dog lover) told me how he witnessed a dog chasing a thrown stick, it got impaled in the dog’s throat. He said he’d never heard a sound like it, very upsetting. He never threw a stick after that and we never have, only balls.

Frowit is not banned but the only sticks allowed are like this. I’m so fast I get to the stick about the same time as it lands and I have hurt myself a couple of times. Luckily no injuries but the squeak is a loud one

Bev the cleaning lady has had to retire as she has arthritis and needs a new knee. She said she’s really going to miss me. We have a new cleaning lady who arrives this morning and I am looking forward to welcoming her
