🚨BREAKING: It has just been revealed that 320,000 children, nearly 9% of all U.S. births, were born to unauthorized or temporary migrant mothers. Holy smokes...

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is blasting Santa Clara County’s sanctuary policies after a young mother was allegedly slain by two undocumented immigrants in Sunnyvale. Kembery Chirinos Flores, 24, of Mountain View, was shot to death on January 7. "She was a loving mother of a five-year-old son," the Sunnyvale Police Chief said. Leading up to the homicide, one of the accused killers was wanted by ICE agents, but he was back on the streets because he was released from a county jail, according to DHS. The two men accused of killing Flores are Honduran nationals who lived in Sunnyvale and Hollister, despite prior deportations, DHS said. "This insanity of refusing to turn cold-blooded killers over to ICE must end," DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said. Full Story: kron4.com/news/bay-area/…

When Rahm Emanuel says Democrats have “lost the plot,” that should terrify the party. This isn’t a Republican talking point. This is Clinton’s adviser, Obama’s Chief of Staff, Chicago’s former mayor, former congressman, and one of the Democrats’ most ruthless insiders saying the machine has gone off the rails. When one of the architects of modern Democrat power starts calling out the brand, it means the rot is too obvious to hide. They traded working families, public safety, borders, and kitchen table issues for ideological obsessions and performative outrage. Now even the insiders are admitting the party stopped listening to normal Americans. When the fire alarm is coming from inside the house, the blaze is already out of control. 🔥 If Rahm Emanuel is saying it out loud, imagine what the rest of them are saying in private.

“We have to make it clear that abuse of anyone, and sexual abuse of women, will have a zero-tolerance policy; that we have to create safe environments” @Scott_Wiener author of the bill that put male rapists in locked cells with women No, it’s not April Fools. It’s just the first answer he gave at the debate last night. This is why San Franciscans think Scott Wiener is a moderate. The local media does not hold him to account when he says the most incredible lies.

I don’t think anything makes me angrier at the Drs office than being asked to step out of the room so they can talk to my kid alone…ja #sutter

Most parents who come to me have already tried the logical approach. They’ve done the research. They’ve printed out studies on the risks of cross-sex hormones. They’ve found detransition stories. They’ve prepared talking points. And they’ve presented all of this to their bright, articulate teenager — who dismissed every bit of it without breaking a sweat. This is one of the most disorienting experiences for parents, especially parents of smart kids. You’re thinking: she’s intelligent, she values evidence, she’s a critical thinker in other areas of life. So surely, if I just present the right information in the right way, she’ll see reason. But that’s not how any of this works. And understanding why is the key to everything else we do in ROGD Repair. Why persuasion backfires When you try to convince your child that their gender identity is wrong, you’re not just challenging an idea. You’re threatening something that has become structurally important to their psychology. The identity is doing something for them — protecting them from fears, giving them a sense of belonging, providing an explanation for discomfort they don’t otherwise know how to name. It’s what I call a load-bearing delusion. And when you attack a load-bearing wall, the whole structure feels like it’s going to collapse. So their response isn’t rational, even if they dress it up in rational language. It’s defensive. It’s survival. And every time you come at them with another argument, another article, another “have you considered” — you’re giving them another opportunity to practice defending the position. You’re actually strengthening the neural pathways associated with the belief. On top of that, there’s the adolescent ego to contend with. Teenagers have a deep, almost biological need to see themselves as autonomous, independent thinkers. If you say “you’ve been misled” or “you’re being naive,” there is an automatic wall that comes up. Not because what you’re saying is wrong, but because admitting you’re right would mean admitting they were foolish — and their ego can’t tolerate that. The dandelion seed So what do you do instead? You plant seeds. Tiny ones. And you walk away. Continue reading on Substack... stephaniewinn.substack.com/p/planting-see…
