My brother died some years back. He was a doctor. A damn good one, if I can say. He collapsed at his place, fell into a coma and spent a whole week at Parerenyatwa hospital in Harare. The most painful part was not his death - everyone dies, eventually. The most painful part of it all was going to identify his body at the mortuary and finding him thrown on the concrete floor. That image still haunts me. It was a Friday afternoon and our wish was to transfer him from the state mortuary to a private one. You all know the state of mortuaries in our state-run hospitals. First we were made to move around, office to office to office, filling in the paper work. After lunch we were finally led to the morgue to identify him. What I had expected and what I found there were worlds apart. I found him thrown on the concrete floor, helpless, lifeless. Nothing had prepared me for that sight. It was not his death but how he lay thrown on the floor, abandoned, that struck the hardest blow. I felt the blow on my heart. A hard blow. I felt it on the stomach. I felt it on the balls. I felt it on my knees. I wished I could kneel down, grab him, wrap him with something and show him that even in death people still cares about him. I wanted to scream. "Do you know him? Do you know what he has done for others? He has saved lives. He has given many hope. He has served this country well.'" But I could not. He was not a drama person. So I could not bring drama to his death. All I remember was nodding softly at the man asking me "is it him?". It was him alright. My very brother. On the concrete floor. Uncomfortably reminding me of the fragility of our control over life's end. We don't plan how we die. No one does. But we can and must plan how we live. Because living is more important than dying. This week, we lost a comrade, someone we walked with in this long and difficult journey of struggle. He was young, full of life, taken from us by unknown assailants in a hit-and-run. He served the organisation with loyalty and dedication. I write this in deep pain, reflecting on the many comrades we have buried in this already difficult struggle for change. Each loss is a wound, a cost we continue to bear. But beyond the pain comrades, it places a huge responsibility in our shoulders. It calls on us, together, to advance the struggle with renewed purpose. It imposes an ideological, moral and generational obligation, to reject stagnation, to guard against hubris, and to never approach the situation at home with a carefree attitude. We owe it to those we have lost to remain steadfast, disciplined, and committed to the cause they stood for. Either way comrades,we fight! Fly high Mabara 🕊️

PLEASE SHARE🙏 | 💰REWARD US$200💰 Hi. I am looking for a man called Collins Nyangwindi from Harare. I gave him a total of US$7,000 from me to purchase a Honda Fit GK3 but never delivered the car. Collins and I are friends from our time at the University of Zimbabwe. He later went into the business of importing and selling cars, so I trusted him to handle the purchase for me. I paid him in full. We met on 20 June 2024 to finalise the payment. He said there were shipping delays and later told me he would collect the car on 29 June 2024. Since then, he has disappeared and is no longer reachable. I reported the matter at Bulawayo Central Police Station, near where he collected the money. The case number is CR/327/08/24. There is a reward of US$200 for any information that helps me locate him. If I recover my money, I am willing to offer more. My contact details are: 0776 307 464

Ndine vamwe tsano wangu vaiita basa rekuDriver kaFolk lift zvawo mumasasa mumaIndustry umo! He then also took a course to fix those forklift, around 2010 then he managed to get a job in SA doing the same job, fixing and driving forklift, He actually managed to finish paying off his house mortgage in SA,then just after Covid time he got a huge management position in Australia,he was telling me that he manages over 2000 manuallly operated forklifts and a lot of automated conveyer belts e.t.c He called me last night telling me that he finished paying off his mortgage for a house in Sydney,(that’s making more than a million US dollars in just 6 years). Just thought to share that some jobs that people look down upon if done deli-gently and overtime can change someone’s life! He loves to share his story with me because l always get fascinated with his story, when l was younger used to think it’s not possible to earn a living by just operating a forklift! To young people failing to go University because of finance, that might be God redirecting your life from studying these redundant degrees and think about something productive!

"ONE MAN, ONE VOTE" DOES NOT MEAN VOTE DIRECTLY FOR A PRESIDENT!!!! I never thought one day I will be teaching a white man English but ooh well, let me educate you @DougColtart. The phrase “one man, one vote” has deep historical meaning in Zimbabwe and across Africa. It emerged during the liberation struggle as a rejection of colonial rule, where the majority African population had been denied political participation. This demand was closely linked to the historic principle of "No Independence Before Majority African Rule," where African nationalists insisted that independence could not be granted unless it reflected the will of the majority population. “One man, one vote” therefore became the mechanism through which majority rule could be realized. But it is important to understand what the slogan actually meant, because clearly, the current crop of "activists" and their legal handlers are functionally illiterate. It did not mean that citizens must always vote directly for every single office holder, specifically the President. Rather, it meant that every citizen must have an equal vote in determining the political system of the country. The objective of this mantra was to end minority rule and ensure that political authority ultimately derived from the majority. The level of ignorance being paraded by those protesting is embarrassing. You lot are screaming about a slogan you don’t even understand. "One man, one vote" is about the right to the ballot, not a specific mandate on how a head of state is selected. It never specified a direct presidential election; it specified that a citizen’s voice must count in the general governance of the land. That principle is not a suicide pact that prevents constitutional evolution. In the context of #CA3, that principle remains firmly intact. CA3 does not strip you of your right to vote; it simply streamlines how the executive is formed within a representative framework. You will still walk to the polling station, you will still cast your vote, and your vote will still carry the same weight it always has. To suggest otherwise is a desperate attempt to weaponize history for cheap political points. Stop gaslighting the public with your distorted definitions.

In South Africa it's not that difficult to spot a black foreigner, they love wearing the English Premier League team jerseys. The black South Africans are not that much into foreign leagues, they wear local colors. Maybe it's because there's massive investment in their local league.

Some of us expressed satisfaction when Sir Wicknell Chivhayo announced his intention to donate funds to Parliament, as we believed the gesture would complement government efforts to accelerate development in line with Vision 2030. However, when the Youth League issued a statement directing Cde Wicknell Chivhayo to follow the proper procedure, we refrained from offering further personal opinions and chose instead to respect the party’s decision. It must also be emphasized that the opposition is overlooking the fact that the Youth League clearly stated it is not opposed to Mr. Chivhayo’s philanthropic work. Therefore, let us respect the party’s decision without creating unnecessary noise, as if Cde Chivhayo has ceased to be a member. The encouraging development is that CAB3 is being warmly embraced by the people, and this is what binds us together.

On a Serious note, I am not happy with what these High net individuals did to me. They lack professionalism. They approached me with land which was idle for years. I went for a site visit, did our market survey, did our high level designs for a shopping mall and medical center, high level cost estimates, tenant procurement, investment appraisal and scenario analysis, risk profiling and project packaging. We present the projects and recommendations. He chose shopping mall. We agreed to sign agreements. We sent our first draft to him. He went mute. 3 months down the line earthworks are being carried out onsite with all white consultants and contractors without our knowledge😭 he is white by the way. The design was slightly twerked I saw project sign board but tenants are steel the same especially anchor tenant. Nhai Mwari riini chaizvo pazvichaitawo😭😭😭

He dis his part. Look at how many primary health centers were there when he took over in 1980 and how many were the in Nov 2017. Look at how many primary and secondary schools we had in 1980 and how many we have now. We had one university in 1980 now we have a university in each of the 10 provinces. If that's not moving the country forward, then tell me what moving forward means for you.
