Fairly considerable price reductions for younger fans next season, and extended age bands to ensure younger fans pay less for longer. A step in the right direction. Story on @ExpressandStar shortly #wwfc
Wolves@Wolves

Ahead of 2026/27 season ticket renewals, we have made a series of age band changes designed to make Molineux more accessible for younger fans and families. Prices for under-18s and under-14s have also been confirmed at £175 and £75 respectively. wolves.co.uk/news/club/2026…

So tedious to read this stuff. I have been unsparing for years in my criticism of the Tory record on defence. Including in today’s article. But that doesn’t get Labour off the hook. You can’t put things right unless you allocate the budgets. Starmer-Reeves are not doing that. Yes, procurement of complex military machines takes time. But it won’t happen at all without more defence spending.
Dominic@pcl100

@afneil You do know we have a Tory government defence. It takes 10 years to approve design build and commission a complex warship. As with most public services the Tories spent 14 years hollowing out almost every public service. Impossible to replace in 22 months 🤔

@molineuxmusings He’s done a good job but look at the money West Ham spent in Jan whereas we were net sellers again . Fosun really needs to be clear about the future .

A goal conceded from a corner which was not a corner. A goal conceded from giving the ball away and then a completely saveable effort goes in. A goal conceded 1 minute later from a terrible deflection and yet again completely saveable. And finally a flick on from Santi.

Mosquera has just won a free-kick from Summerville and gestured to referee Jarred Gillett that the West Ham player should be booked. For that, the referee booked Mosquera. He will now miss the next two games. #wwfc

@_AlwaysWolves We were the better team for 70 percent of the game and a recurring fault is trying to be too clever in midfield and getting punished . Joao Gomez and Mane both make that mistake too often . Armstrong looked isolated and we need Ariel threat for crosses

Rob Edwards 🗣️ "Yes it did come as a surprise. We're bitterly disappointed. I thought the performance in the first half was good and we started really well. Goign 1-0 down can happen, we talked about making sure we finish attacks better. Then two quick fire goals, they latched onto our mistakes and then the game is done. You give them credit but it is poor from us. So what started looking like it could be a positive night ended up being really difficult. "It doesn't matter who makes the mistakes, we make them as a team. A couple of our best players have been robbed of the ball, it can happen, there is still a lot to do. It's a collective and they took advantage of those tonight. "For us it is the same message. We have to try to finish strong, respect every game and go for it. We are all under the microscope and we have to make sure we perform. Tonight is strange because we did, and then we got punished in the second half. We've got to make sure that we respond now at Elland Road. "I don't think it's helped 25 days not playing, but it's not an excuse. I won't make any excuses. In the end we got punished for our mistakes and West Ham won the game deservedly. Tonight we've got to lick our wounds, take the medicine, take the criticism, then come back and respond well." #wwfc

A load of nonsense. There’s nothing riding on Keir Starmer’s awayday to the Gulf. Who’s going to tell him Iran is keeping control of the Strait of Hormuz? And there’s nothing he can do about it. Especially since he doesn’t have a Navy.
ITV News@itvnews

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is travelling to the Gulf to reiterate the UK's support for the newly agreed ceasefire between the US and Iran. He will hold talks with Gulf leaders on “practical efforts” to restore freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. itv.com/news/2026-04-0… ITV News Political Editor @Peston is travelling with the PM

When income tax rates were 83%, the best-paid 1% contributed just 14% of all income tax. Now, the top 1% pay 29% of all income tax. If you care about outcome rather than signalling (or just bleeding the rich) today’s lower rate leads to more revenue; better results.

@afneil Labour promised not to do this but it’s sadly the same old story of spending other people’s money until it runs out . This is not the government the country voted for !

Every measure you list involves spending wealth. You don’t list one measure that creates wealth. And if you don’t create wealth you will soon run out of it to spend, which is already happening (hence all your extra taxes and borrowing).
