Saving our churches is saving something fundamental about Britain itself, the Britain that still believes in fairness, hospitality and humour. The Britain that knows how to queue politely, laugh at itself and show up when someone needs help. The Britain that looks after one another quietly and without applause…We need to see these churches not as burdens but as gifts; as the infrastructure of kindness. #greatexpectationsforchurches

@McDonaldsUK drove to two McDonald’s in Swansea which said they were open 24hours and both were closed! Had just left my mum in hospital so would have been good if your branches were open as it had been a long night. Disappointed ☹️

We have to be direct about Trump’s plan in Gaza: He is calling for ethnic cleansing. Congress must stand firm against his demand for war crimes.  Palestinians have a right to live with equal rights and freedom on their land.
