@HMRCcustomers When they put the p45 in with wrong tax code then HMRC will send re adjust to correct one?

@HMRCcustomers I have obviously paid too much tax since 6th April 2024, so will a tax refund be issued as soon as my tax code is changed or will I have to wait until the end of the tax year?

@mandyhart26 Did you pass the P45 from the main employer to this employer, or was this a job you already had? Steve

@HMRCcustomers And p45 was from my main employer and it said my tax code for main employer was 1257L so they should have been using it

@HMRCcustomers Tax code for 24/25 is 1257L. No not only employment however all others were at CBR

@HMRCcustomers Not yet as I am waiting for my final payslip at the end of this month. All I want to clarify is that my new tax code should be sent to my new employer, and any overpayment of tax refunded??

@mandyhart26 And did you hand your P45 to your employer? Your new employer has 35 days to notify HMRC that you're working for them. Once we have the details, we can send a tax code to your new employer. Suchona

@bmstores Disgusting!!!!!I’ve just been to my local store in Pembroke Dock. No heating in the store, absolutely freezing in there, warmer outside. No heating since December!!!!! The poor staff are having to work in these conditions, should be ashamed of yourselves.
