Under 90 minutes or over 200. Those are the acceptable movie runtimes.

Is it long because the director needs room to thoroughly explore the visual and auditory possibilities of this story and situation? Bring on those butt-numbing runtimes.
Is it long because it ends with an artless 30-minute CGI fight scene? Burn it in hell.

2. If it did, it would be weird enough that I would talk with the student to find out what happened and we’d work out a solution.
3. If they did the math and decided not to do it, then they get the grade for not doing it. Which is 0.

@MrDanielBuck I also added this in a comment in this post. 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 0. So ten assignments demonstrating absolute perfection- except one. Student then gets a B here (90%) for an overall grade. I feel weird NOT giving them a 50% for that. Right?!
