@DawieScholtz Does the model distil this down to seat level? Eager to understand how far short of 200 seats ANC + EFF is likely to be under this scenario - I am guessing around 3 short?

@chrisyelland Possible to add lines for planned maintenance 2021 / 2022? Useful to see vs those baselines instead of just 2023.
English

A truly remarkable turnaround in the Eskom week-on-week energy availability factor (EAF), as planned maintenance outages (PCLF) continues to decline following the normal seasonal pattern, while unplanned breakdowns (UCLF) hold steady at 5 percentage points lower that for the first 17 weeks of 2024.

@Brendennel I don’t think you’re making the point you think you’re making. Leinster prioritising Champions Cup semi over an SA tour where home URC semi all but sewn up for them. I hope you can see the difference.
English

@AnalyticsForest Even if it is, who cares - after the Spurs fiasco we were told these things level out across a season. So I will gleefully accept this one as a scale leveller. Don’t follow Forest enough to know if they have had one going the other way - If not, hope one comes to help you out!

@GaylorTIPS @AntonEberhard What’s your assumption on loose cells vs direct imports of finished batteries? Also average price needs to be weighed into h1 2023 as supply was lopsided across year when prices were much higher - so I think less than 12.5GWh - closer to 10GWh I’d guess.
English

SA imports of lithium-ion #batteries reached $1.75bn in 2023, more than x2 the 2022 numbers ($0.73bn). At an average of $139/kWh, that's about 12.5GWh (or about 3.8-5.0GW of capacity).
Local manufacturing (based on imported cells) is however booming and should be supported.

At the risk of repeating myself for the 1000th time, no SA20 contracted players were available for selection
CSA made a deal with the SA20 that all players will be available at all times during the tournament
SA20 profits is vital to the financial resurrection for CSA
