Its a double edged sword now. When stocks run hard prior to earnings like this one has, it indicates that the institutions that track it are expecting good earnings. But when the stock has run up so much, even a slight negative can result in a good pullback. So this is essentially a sharp double edged sword now. It can cut both ways.
