Matt Peet mentioned at the Good Friday derby presser that there was an Academy Grand Final between the two sides back in 2024 and it would be good to see how many who played in that game might be playing for their first team this week. So, I had a look! From that Grand Final, there is: Owen Dagnall Harry Robertson George Whitby Jake Davies Noah Hodkinson Jack Farrimond Taylor Kerr Seven players who could all potentially feature in a St Helens vs Wigan Warriors derby just two years on!
