This is one of my favorite underdog plays on the card. I think Cody Durden is being overlooked.
MY +EV BETS 💰
• 0.45u Cody Durden ML (+205)
• 0.35u Cody Durden by Decision (+400)
• 0.20u Cody Durden by Submission (+1200)
Costa is the cleaner striker and probably has the higher finishing upside, but Durden's wrestling, pressure, and experience give him a real path to winning minutes.
If Durden can establish his grappling early, I expect him to slow the fight down, rack up control time, and make this the type of fight he thrives in. Decision (+400) is the most likely outcome if he wins, while Submission (+1200) is a high-upside sprinkle if Costa makes a mistake during extended grappling exchanges.
At these prices, I think Durden is one of the better value underdogs on the card.

I don’t care what anyone says, #Mexico 🇲🇽 shouldn’t be feared. Their roster isn’t great, and they took advantage of a weak group and home field advantage. All of that’s fine, but I firmly believe that as soon as they run up against a nation who will apply continuous pressure, they’ll crumble. #England, hear me out. The elevation is real. It’s all apart of the Mexico mystique. It’s how Mexico has always been dominant at the Azteca. Teams can’t adequately prepare for it. If you guys get past DR Congo, if you can immediately train down there, give yourself a chance to acclimate to the elevation.
