The elephant in the @CityofJoburgZA room is right here. The governance and service delivery model is too costly. It creates space for extreme forms of rent-seeking, produces complex oversight arrangements, and ultimately nothing gets done.
We must reverse this. Collapse these entities and rebuild internal departments, not service trading boards as incentivised by Treasury. Build internal municipal capacity. Municipalities are permanent institutions, so we must invest in strengthening them.
No one is willing to confront this. @helenzille , not @HermanMashaba, not anyone. This mess will not be resolved unless we start here.

Peter Steinberger is joining OpenAI to drive the next generation of personal agents. He is a genius with a lot of amazing ideas about the future of very smart agents interacting with each other to do very useful things for people. We expect this will quickly become core to our product offerings.
OpenClaw will live in a foundation as an open source project that OpenAI will continue to support. The future is going to be extremely multi-agent and it's important to us to support open source as part of that.

This is exactly what the developer experience needed. We have 'Spotify Wrapped' for our bad taste in music; we deserved a 'Cursor Wrapped' for our questionable coding habits. Seeing the ratio of 'Lines Written by Me' vs. 'Lines Written by Tab' is the ultimate 2025 reality check. It gamifies the grind in the best way possible

Context windows have been getting so long, RAG so good, we almost doubted 'memory' is an issue. But two things are converging: the price of memory chips is rising, and the big labs are elevating memory to what Sam refers to 'GPT2 era of memory'. Very exciting.

An AI will be able to remember every conversation, email, and document across a person’s lifetime, identifying patterns and preferences humans never consciously express. Once memory becomes persistent, the idea of a personal assistant will fundamentally change.
