I’ve been external examiner on the BA Philosophy at Roehampton for the past three years. It's an excellent programme. It also performs a crucial, though typically unseen, role for UK philosophy as a whole.

Has any major U.K. newspaper published an obituary of Joseph Raz? It’s a real sign of cultural decline when there is a serious question mark about whether an academic of his towering stature will receive an obituary. We are drowning in trivia.
