Q: How do you determine whether a reply is being made in good faith, or is intentionally inflammatory? This seems like something AI might be able to do. Then again, that could be trolled, too. Thoughts ??

Some engineer writes to me to object that my Go library is missing a key feature that it used to have. Turns out that the library never had this feature, but ChatGPT thought so. Actual email exchange:

Question: Does anyone else not feel inclined to listen to audiobooks but only because you’re excessively picky about voices? If the narrator’s voice doesn’t sound like the one in my head when I read the book or it doesn’t match the story for me, I know it would put me off😅. (Yes btw, I fully admit that it’s a ridiculous reason & overly demanding but the sound of someone’s voice is really important to me - maybe it’s because I grew up with a singer as a mom, I don’t know- but does anyone else feel similarly??)

@2Otoole4School @EvanOQuigley @deanfbuckley All fair points. I think I’d like to see more involvement from the govt to discourage sales of new construction en mass to investors rather than owners. I also think (but have no data to prove) opening up some of the help to buy schemes for “second hand” homes would be huge.

@deanfbuckley Even looking at airbnb itself , most of the listings are mostly wood cabins, purpose built holiday homes, castles, barn conversions on someones land, yurts, caravans. If banning airbnb returned even 25 properties to long term rental id be shocked.
