From NFT co-founder to AI founder. Here's why I made the switch. I spent 3 years deep in web3. Built a studio. Co-founded a series. Believed in the tech. Still do. But somewhere along the way I noticed something: I was spending more time explaining crypto to people than actually building things that help them. Then I started playing with AI tools. Not as a trend. As a VFX editor with 18 years in Film & TV — I needed to solve real problems, fast. Automating workflows. Saving hours. Shipping faster. The feedback was instant. The utility was obvious. NFTs asked people to believe first, get value later. AI gives value on day one. That's the difference. I'm not abandoning what I built. I'm taking everything I learned about community, storytelling, and systems — and building something that actually solves problems for people right now. Mr Lobster is the first one. WhatsApp. Automated. For small businesses. We're just getting started. 🔁 If you're a founder building with AI, I want to connect. Drop a reply.

simple idea. I saw a colleague sign an email with: (っ◕‿◕)っ 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 He went to make tea. Before he got back, I’d built a thank you generator and put it online. This is the world now. Link in the comments.

If you are not asking your Claude Code for too much you are not doing your job properly: "This is a substantial brief — you're essentially asking me to research VFX editorial database best practices, analyse your failed attempts, review your FileMaker workflow, investigate ShotGrid API integration, and produce a comprehensive build plan for Claude Code."

Why people talk about Claude CoWork vs OpenClaw Is it too much to ask for both?

@AlexFinn great freaking point Alex, this is why one of the things i'm building is a VFX Editor Database, something I need and know in and outs of because I've been doing it for over 17 years.

AI didn't kill software. AI just killed dumb software. Everyone and their mothers is building social media cross posting tools right now. Every day someone else releases a way to post to X/youtube/tiktok at the same time That's dead. What isn't dead is solving challenging, niche problems This is the secret to getting rich in the age of AI Instead of vibe coding the easiest thing you can think of like an AI content generator, go after a really difficult niche problem • An AI agent for grocery stores • A CRM for spas • An inventory management tool for retro video game stores Instead of opening Claude Code and vibe coding another wrapper, go after the hardest niche challenge you can think of THIS is how you win right now.

@bullbearLOL it's crazy, didn't expect it to be so different, but in my case, for a customer facing bot, it makes so much difference, people don't want to talk to a bot, and with claude they get as close to human conversation as it gets.

@manzombie_eth This is so real. We run a trading agent on OpenClaw with Claude and the "personality" of the agent IS the strategy. Swap the model and the risk tolerance, writing style, everything shifts. Model choice = agent identity. Not just capability.

My OpenClaw bot lost Claude access mid-session. So I switched it to OpenAI. The bot came back online in minutes. But it wasn't the same bot anymore. Same agent. Same system prompt. Same WhatsApp channel. Same customer-facing setup. Different model under the hood. And the voice changed instantly. 1. Less proactive. 2. Less intuitive. 3. More robotic. 4. More structured. 5. Every answer felt like it wanted to become a bullet point list. (looked exacly like the list above) It still worked. But it stopped feeling like a sharp collaborator and started feeling like a careful assistant reading from a script. I run a WhatsApp AI assistant for local businesses. They don't want corporate. They want fast, human, useful. The Claude version nailed that. The OpenAI version felt like it was wearing a suit to a boiler repair. That made one thing painfully obvious: Model choice doesn't just change output quality. It changes behaviour. Tone. Initiative. Pacing. The entire personality of your agent. People treat models like plug-and-play components. They're not. Swap the model and you swap the soul of the agent.

Who in London has set up some crazy personal AI agents? We're hosting a demo night at the @meetgranola HQ on April 9 with our friends at @zocomputer @0thernet! Would love 2-3 more people to demo what they've built. Who should we have on?

Built this in an hour last night #bjj 😂 Smashed or Not? — put in your belt, age and weight vs your partner and it tells you the honest odds before you roll. bukowiecki.co/vfxtools/smash… No excuses after. The algorithm has spoken. 🥋

Anthropic just added Telegram control to Claude Code. We've had that since January. Here's what I built while everyone was waiting: 1. Bot 2. SSL 3. SSH 4. Meet page 5. Sales bot 6. Website 7. Tail-scale 8. Bot persona 9. AI business partner 10. Human handoff rules 11. Spam filter + ROCK code 12. WhatsApp sales bot live 13. Mac Mini .pkg installer 14. Multi-agent architecture 15. Custom brand personalities 16. Runway ML video character 17. Polish customer handled live 18. First customer demo bot live 19. VFX Editor Database phases 1–5 20. Bot closed a discovery call on its own 21. First in-person customer meeting Monday Anthropic building this into Claude Code is great. But if I'd waited for big tech to give me permission — none of this would exist. The tools are there. The gap is people who actually use them. @AnthropicAI — flattered. Keep going. 🦞

I’m Proud to be British The U.K. is still one of the most resilient and influential countries in the world. We have world-class universities, groundbreaking science, and a culture that has shaped the planet for centuries. London remains one of the greatest, most dynamic cities on Earth – not the highest rape capital of Europe, but a global hub of opportunity, creativity and freedom. We pay taxes, yes – but we also enjoy freedoms, rule of law, and a welfare safety net that billions would envy. £100 still buys real quality of life if you spend it wisely. Labour is a democratically elected government – not communism. We have robust institutions, an independent judiciary, and a free (if noisy) press that would never survive under actual communism. People who break the law on social media face consequences, just like in every civilised country. That’s accountability, not tyranny. The BBC has flaws and needs reform, but it still produces some of the best content on the planet and remains respected worldwide. Energy prices are high because we’re transitioning to a greener future and dealing with global shocks – not because we’re uniquely cursed. Inflation has been painful, but it’s coming down and we’re not alone – most Western nations faced the same post-pandemic and Ukraine-war pressures. Housing is expensive in desirable areas, but millions of Brits still own homes, and we’re building more than we have in years. The Royal Family continues to represent Britain on the world stage with dignity and soft power that most republics can only dream of. The NHS is under huge pressure, but it still delivers free healthcare at the point of need – a principle worth fighting to fix, not abandon. We may not make as many heavy industrial goods as before, but we lead in aerospace, pharmaceuticals, fintech, creative industries, AI, and advanced engineering. “We don’t manufacture anything” is simply not true. Shoplifting under £200 is absolutely still a crime – the idea it isn’t is a myth pushed on social media. Crime in London is real in certain areas, but overall violent crime is far lower than in many major US or European cities, and the vast majority of visitors and residents experience one of the safest global capitals. British food has undergone a revolution – from farm-to-table restaurants to incredible ethnic diversity, we now have some of the best dining in Europe. We’re not lazy – we work hard, often with long hours and high productivity in key sectors. The “lazy Brit” stereotype is bullshit. We can be grumpy, sure – but that dry, self-deprecating British humour is part of our charm and has helped us through far worse times. Putting cheese and mayonnaise in security boxes is ridiculous overreach and a sign of failed policies on theft – not a reflection of the whole nation. Some people are leaving for Dubai and elsewhere for tax or lifestyle reasons – that’s their choice. Millions more are choosing to stay, build lives here, or even move to the UK because they see opportunity and quality of life. We don’t need to “take our power back” in some revolutionary sense – we already have the power through democracy, enterprise, and our own efforts. The “Great” in Great Britain never left – it lives in our history, our people, and our future potential. The “United” in United Kingdom is worth preserving and strengthening through shared values, not division. We need to Produce. Work. Build. Innovate. – and yes, hold every government to account at the ballot box. Britain isn’t finished. It’s evolving. And with the right attitude, hard work, and unity, the best chapters are still ahead. God Save the King. 🇬🇧

I’m now Ashamed to be British The U.K is now the second most depressing country in the world (official) Highest rape city in Europe One of the highest taxed nations in the world £100 now feels like a tenner Labour bringing Communism to the U.K. People are going to jail for social media posts The BBC is broken Our energy prices are a joke Nearly 40% inflation in 5 years No one can afford a house The Royal family is over since the Queen died The NHS is broken We don’t manufacture anything anymore Nicking anything under £200 is not a crime You get your watches & phones stolen in London Our food is shit We’re lazy AF We’re grumpy AF including me We now put cheese & mayonnaise in security boxes in the supermarket Everyone’s f*cking off to Dubai We need to take our power back & put the GREAT back into GREAT Britain & the UNITED back into the UNITED Kingdom We need to Produce. Work. Build. Innovate. And get Labour OUT

I'm 48. I'm a VFX editor by day. A year ago this would have taken a team and 3 weeks. This is March 2026. The gap between people using these tools and people who aren't is becoming irreversible.

This Sunday I wanted to build a video AI sales assistant using @runwayml's character API. I didn't open a code editor. I described what I wanted to my AI agent and said: figure it out. 20 minutes later it was live with HTTPS. 🧵
