The conformational landscape of DNA aptamers is not that difficult to interpret, after all. See more on Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal doi.org/10.1016/j.csbj…

Microdispensing at the picoliter scale is redefining precision in science enabling ultra-accurate droplet placement for biotech, diagnostics and electronics. A raindrop ≈ 50 µL is 50 million× larger than a picoliter.

The multivalency of imperfect pairings dominates the efficiency of capture long chains (gene-wide) of single-stranded nucleic acids by surface-immobilized oligomers. For details, see our paper published on @NAR_Open : doi.org/10.1093/nar/gk…

The repertoire of antibodies in our blood keeps memory of a past Covid-19 infection down to a single-variant resolution. This can be revealed by serum antibody fingerprinting using label-free microarrays. doi.org/10.3389/fimmu.…

Just found out my friend got murdered in his house together with his wife and all his kids. He was a very good man who helped anybody as a principle, even if you weren't close with whatever you might need. A real Kibbutznik. I am broken. Everybody around me getting similar news.

Thermodynamics is a funny subject. The first time you go through it, you don't understand it at all. The second time you go through it, you think you understand it, except for one or two small points. The third time you go through it, you know you don't understand it, but by that time you are so used to it, it doesn't bother you any more. -- Arnold Sommerfeld (1868-1951) 📷AIP Emilio Segrè Visual Archives, Margrethe Bohr Collection

An infinite number of mathematicians walk into a bar. The 1st orders a beer. The 2nd orders half of a beer. The 3rd orders a quarter of a beer. The 4th begins to order, but the bartender cuts him off saying, "You guys need to know your limits." He puts 2 beers on the bar.
