@antitheistdad Nada disso.

Atheists don’t need to disprove God’s existence to theists. Many versions of theistic claims are unfalsifiable, which makes the attempt pointless. The burden of proof should remain on the theist, where it belongs.

Atheism: The Faith That Thinks It Has No Obligations Atheism is not the default, burden-free position. It carries its own metaphysical commitments—about existence, consciousness, morality, and meaning that require serious defense. The strongest atheist thinkers (Bertrand Russell, Daniel Dennett, Thomas Nagel) acknowledge this openly. Atheism has a price tag. It’s a worldview with hard commitments. Atheism struggles badly with why questions—why anything exists, why it’s ordered, why we can know it, why anything matters. A worldview that cannot answer the deepest questions about existence, consciousness, and morality is not the most reasonable explanation for the way things are. It’s an incomplete one. Ultimately, it boils down to one question: Does atheism offer the strongest, most reasonable and most convincing explanations for reality? Francis Bacon, the father of modern science: “God never wrought miracle to convince atheism, because his ordinary works convince it. It is true, that a little philosophy inclineth man’s mind to atheism; but depth in philosophy bringeth men’s minds about to religion.”

definist fallacy In English: “-ism is a suffix added to the end of a word to indicate a system of belief, a doctrine, a practice, or a distinctive way of behaving.” Even Portuguese -ismo doesn't mean what you're saying: Official Portuguese definitions: -It forms nouns meaning: doctrine, system, theory, practice, philosophy, tendency, movement, or characteristic behavior. -It is neutral — it carries no built-in connotation of militancy or activism. -Sources like the Houaiss Dictionary, Priberam, and Wikipédia (Portuguese) all describe it the same way: it creates abstract nouns for ideas, schools of thought, etc.

Atheism isn’t a “worldview with heavy metaphysical commitments”—it’s simply the lack of belief in gods. Most atheists (weak/negative atheism) aren’t claiming “no gods exist with certainty” or that they have all the answers about consciousness, morality, or why anything exists. That’s a common strawman. The burden of proof lies on the positive claim: “A specific God exists with these attributes and intervenes in reality.” Extraordinary claims require evidence. Not believing in Zeus, Thor, or the Abrahamic God until shown sufficient reason isn’t “faith”—it’s the rational default, just like not believing in invisible unicorns. Theism doesn’t actually solve the “why” questions better. Saying “God did it” just kicks the can: Why God? Why this God? Why does God allow evil/suffering/hiddenness? Naturalism has progress via science (cosmology, evolution, neuroscience) on order, life, and mind—even if gaps remain. “God” often adds complexity without explanatory power. Russell, Dennett, and Nagel highlight real philosophical challenges (hard problem of consciousness, etc.), but they don’t concede atheism loses. They’re doing philosophy within naturalism. Many theistic arguments have their own holes (Euthyphro dilemma on morality, infinite regress on cosmology). That Bacon quote is from 1625—pre-Darwin, pre-quantum mechanics, pre-modern cosmology. “Deeper philosophy” today? Surveys of philosophers (PhilPapers) show most are atheists or agnostics. Science’s best minds overwhelmingly are too. Education and inquiry tend to reduce religious belief, not increase it. Atheism doesn’t need to be a complete theory of everything to be reasonable. The universe’s intelligibility is better addressed by evidence-based naturalism than by positing an unevidenced supernatural agent. The post flips the burden while assuming theism wins by default. It doesn’t.

Wer echte Freiheit will, braucht keine Marx-Bibel. Er braucht nur zwei Dinge: 1. Die Erkenntnis, dass Individuen Rechte haben, nicht Klassen. 2.
The Fat Electrician@Fat_Electrician

“Have you even read Marx?” A. Yes. B. Even if I hadn’t, the idea that someone has to read thousands of pages of bullshit before they’re allowed to determine it’s bullshit is retarded. If I write a 3,000-page book explaining why slamming your dick in a car door cures cancer, nobody is obligated to read the whole thing to conclude I’m a fucking moron.

These billionaires' obsession with accumulating more & more wealth is a mental illness. Think about it. Trump is 80 years old and he's still obsessed with making more money than he'll ever spend. Enough is never enough for these people who don't ever help anyone but themselves.
