Shipped the redesign of @storyscannerapp. This was my "don't touch Figma" moment in December. 100% designed in code using Claude Code + an army of specialized skills. 🧵 for design details

If you're working on GitHub repos in Claude Code desktop, you can attach GitHub Issues as context. I'm the bottleneck to Claude's productivity. One of the best ways to let Claude cook is to give it access to as much context as possible and this is one way I do it!

a product designer with zero coding experience built an AI that writes its own blog, runs 15+ autonomous brain tasks, deploys apps, and has a self-improvement loop. no code was written by hand. here's how.

@akothari @NotionHQ It’s so slow and bloated. Doesn’t feel like a Mac app. I’m not a big user but Obsidian just absolutely flies. It just doesn’t feel tactile enough. Like every page has to be “managed” and moving things around is hard. Formatting is too hard. Everything feels wrong & heavy.

Voice prompting was a huge unlock for me when it came to "designing in code." @WisprFlow + handsfree dictation mode. Just talk your feedback. For minutes! Designers love crit/feedback sessions. Doing it in the LLM input box is a similar muscle.

I got annoyed with having to click to mailpit to fill my otp codes during local dev so I made a chrome plugin that will autofill the otp code. github.com/marcelosomers/…

Brilliant. Never considered decomposing meetings, notes, and recordings into primitives. Setting this up today.

github.com/silverstein/mi… Get started in 30 seconds: npx minutes-mcp (for the mcp part if you don't need the whole thing). or just point your agent at the repo and have it set up the entire thing for you

Dev things I want: 1️⃣ @conductor_build but with libghostty / native Claude Code terminal. Love the native worktrees for parallel work, but their interface for CC isn't adding anything. 2️⃣ @claudeai support in @linear so I can trigger cloud agents to build via linear issues.

@jessegenet @openclaw This is way cool! I have been building a passion project in a similar space as a homeschool parent: storyscanner.app Choose custom concerns & themes you want to screen for and get reports on any book, movie, or tv show.

So much fun to build this - and some of the work I'm most proud of in my career. More to come soon on my process for designing fully in code. Follow to hear more about it. 🔎 See the details live at storyscanner.app

The app biases toward accuracy, not speed. So nailing the loading experience was essential - and had to be done in code to get a feel for the little details.

With AI raising the floor I now have these little signals/tests for quality bar at companies - e.g. in the marketing site, did they create html/css mini prototypes people can use/explore vs. static images. The @fed10ai site is a great example of this...

@benblumenrose @fed10ai Maybe on maintenance. It's definitely easier to implement though. Maybe 30min to nail it. I would have spent longer preparing screenshots/videos. "Claude, implement an animated version of our search component. Populate it with mock data."

@marcelosomers @fed10ai Ah interesting if you use live components - certainly could make an argument for maintaining maybe being easier??
