Even full line-ups for Le Mans only have to be confirmed by May 1. After that not cheap to change, but happens all the time.

And it would cost them €1000 per driver to change it (if no force majeure). That's how it works in most series where a lot depends on available driver budgets.

Interesting developments in the Middle East. Also because a lot of people based in Europe will have to travel to Melbourne via Dubai or Doha this week and the Bahrain GP is set to take place in 6 weeks. Though I guess for the people in the region it's the least of their worries.

The HRT Ford Mustang GT3 is set to return to the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour next year. Hope the kangaroos not only hear it, but also see it coming. And if not, they might have to add a safety feature to the Ford. Could be a Bathurst homologation special? #B12h 🦘
